Summary
| Description | Apple Mac Pro from about 2013, which was the second generation of the Mac Pro. The cylinder was about 10 inches (25 cm) tall and had a diameter of 6.6 inches (16,5 cm) (source). In 2019, the third generation was introduced which came again in a tower-style, rectangular casing with 'normal' dimensions and shape. The above design had divided Apple users not just because of its extraordinary appearance, but because the design lacked extension/expansion capabilities (with external hardware, e.g., as printed circuit boards) which professional users look for in such a device. |
