Glossary Instructions

15 APR 2025
22:37 EST
We officially completed the letter "V" in the ASX Glossary. All definitions, formatting, and internal links are in place, including glossary integration with the Venturi Effect. The final glossary table entry includes full MediaWiki compatibility and ASX-styled presentation with images and references.
11 APR 2025
19:24 EST
We finalized and deployed the ASX-formatted Wiki XML entry for Variable Pitch Propeller. This included correcting import errors, applying ASX-style templates, and image integration. The XML version was rebuilt and verified successfully.
07 APR 2025
13:15 EST
Glossary development was elevated with the inclusion of LisaFire-inspired design elements. Full-body chrome representations, ASX visual language refinements, and stylistic integration began taking root across the platform.

I finished linking the "N"s today in the ASX Wikibase. In the mean time I upgraded the Wikibase to 1.42.0 standards (from 1.39.1). Took me three days of programming, but we got it done!! (not for the faint of heart)
29 MAR 2025
05:10 EST
I've been linking the glossary terms to the ASX Wikibase! It's a pretty big task (800+ individual terms - as of right now, the "J"s have been completed). Our Aerospace-centric Wikibase is approaching 5,000 pages.
20 MAR 2025
10:22 EST
Aviation Safety X (ASX) now has our own ASX Wikibase! Populating this database will be a dedicated daily activity!
19 MAR 2025
10:22 EST
Implementation of Phase Two of our Glossary (Phase Two example here) has started. Moving forward, the glossary entries will be more complete and interactive.
17 MAR 2025
12:43 EST
Phase One of our Glossary is now complete. Every term from A to Z is fully populated with definitions, images, and essential details. With this foundation in place, we now move to Phase Two. The next step is refining and expanding the glossary by incorporating specialized information, additional content, and expert insights. I will be reaching out to key industry entities, offering them the opportunity to contribute to and enhance this extensive aviation database. Additionally, we are integrating interactive OpenAI functionality to provide an even more dynamic user experience. This AI-powered portal will be available for sponsorship, offering companies the chance to have their logo prominently displayed at each access point. These portals will be available from most of the 600+ pages on this site.

Aviation Safety X introduces this dedicated news and announcements section. This feature will provide real-time updates on site developments (housekeeping), aviation safety news bits, and key announcements.
